Well, here are my projects.  Everything I used is from Stampin’ Up!

Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Blushing Bride are my colors.  I chose to use Timeless Elegance DSP (138444).  The paper had no pink in it, so I took my Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Marker and quickly colored all the flowers.  It really did go quickly.

The fold on this card is the Peek-a-boo fold.  A very simple fold, with a stunning effect.  The DSP is 5-1/4″ x 4″, with a 1-1/2″ slit halfway down the long edge. I carefully folded the flaps back securing each with a dimensional.  I put a Very Vanilla layer under the DSP and then secured the DSP with snail adhesive.

I stamped “Thank You” from  the“Happy Happenings”  stamp set (139381) on Blushing Bride cardstock in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.   I punched it out using the 1-3/8″ circle punch.  I backed it with a black 1-1/2″ circle.

The inside sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I used the Botanical Builder Framelites Dies (140625) for the flowers and leaves.  I LOVE this die set!  The Big Shot Die Brush (140603) is a big help is getting the delicate pieces out of the dies.  The flowers are all popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The black leaves on the inside of the card is actually cut out of the Very Vanilla cardstock … letting the card base show through.  The large size pearls from our basic pearls makes a lovely center for the flowers.

These boxes are very roomy.  They are 2″ square.  The tall one probably will hold about 10 Lindt chocolate balls.  Some smooth Very Vanilla Satin ribbon  tie up the boxes.  I used a tutorial from Sam Donald (Pootles) for her Tall Slender 2, 4, 6, 8 box.  I decided to make two shorter boxes to go with the tall one to make a complete set.  The tallest box uses a piece of card stock 8-1/2 x 10-1/4, the middle size is 8-1/2 x 8-1/4, and the shortest is 8-1/2 x 7-1/4.  They go together very quickly.  I just added some of the die cuts for embellishing to match the card.  If you’d like to try this box, just do a “google” search for “Pootles Tall Slender Box” when you are done with the hop.

This month we have three amazing Guest Hoppers joining us.  Be sure to visit them.  You will be glad you did.

Well, here are my projects.  A darling fancy fold card and a set of stunning oval nesting boxes are my creations this month.  Everything I used is current Stampin’ Up! product.  All the stamp sets and designer paper come from the Occasions Catalog.  Everything I used is in the supply list at the end of my post.

The card is 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored on the long edge at 4-1/4″ and 8-1/2″.  After layering on some GORGEOUS Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper, I used a 20160116_185418_wm    20160116_185044_wm 2-1/2″ circle punch to make the hole.  I then punched a 2-1/2″ circle of Watermelon Wonder cardstock and glued that to the lower flap, making sure I had enough clearance to open and close the card smoothly.  I layered that with a 2-3/8″ scallop circle from Blushing Bride.

I stamped “My Valentine” (from Bloomin’ Love) on Whisper White using a Watermelon Wonder ink pad.  I removed the ink from the leaves and stems with a blender pen and replaced it using a Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Marker.  I then punched it out with a 2″ punch and adhered it.

20160116_185512_wmThe inside sentiment (Mossy Meadow) is from “Grateful Bunch” and the line of hearts … stamped in Blushing Bride and Watermelon Wonder … comes from “Birthday Blooms“.  (shhhh! a strategically place small heart hides a smear of ink!)  The Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Trim is simply tied with a knot around the top flap.

My 3-D project is a set of two oval nesting boxes, PERFECT for a Valentine surprise gift!

To make the boxes, I used a tutorial from Stamping School.  They were pretty easy to assemble.  I used oval framelits and Soft Suede Cardstock for the boxes.  The large box used # 5 & 6 framelits,  the smaller box # 4 & 5.  The larger box used 12 x 12 cardstock for the strip for the box side.  The side of the larger box is 2″ and the smaller one is 1-1/2″ tall.  The lid sides are 1″ and 3/4″, respectively.  I used Tear and Tape adhesive to assure a strong bond.

Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper covers the box.  The “Bloomin’ Love” stamp set provides the stamps.

The flower on the top is made from 8 layers of Filter Paper, cut with framelits from the Floral Frames Collection.  I spritzed a Stampin’ Sponge with water, picked up ink from the ink pad and applied to the edges of the flower.  I added a few leaves cut from Botanical Builder Framelit Dies under the flower.
